Why I want to meet scooterbird
He always has something nice, interesting, thoughtful, or insightful to say. He’s been especially supportive when I write about topics that are difficult for me. There have been days when I really felt like I needed a friend or someone to talk/listen, and his comments make me feel like someone cares.

It was at a folk concert in Owings Mills, about ten years ago, I guess; my uncle’s band was playing there. I shook hands with him and sort of babbled…I was just completely in awe. He smiled the entire time and was just an absolute prince of a guy to me. What a classy gentleman!
